Bringing Your History To Life
Every cricket organisation has stories worth telling. From exhibitions and county histories to podcasts, publications and public talks, Raf can help you bring your heritage to life in ways that engage audiences and celebrate the people who have shaped the game. Whether you want to shine a light on your women’s team, mark a major anniversary or share your club’s history with a new generation of supporters, projects can be tailored to your organisation’s needs.
Exhibitions
Bring the history of women’s cricket to life through engaging, carefully researched exhibitions.
Raf worked with the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on its acclaimed exhibition, The Evolution of Women’s Cricket. She wrote the majority of the exhibition text and spoke at its launch in the iconic Lord’s Long Room in March 2022.
From researching untold stories to writing compelling exhibition text, Raf can help cricket organisations celebrate their heritage, engage new audiences and ensure that women’s contributions to the game are given the recognition they deserve.
County histories
Every cricket club has stories worth telling. Raf can help you uncover them.
In 2019, Raf worked with Surrey County Cricket Club on The Women of Surrey, a pamphlet celebrating the club’s history. She researched and wrote profiles of some of Surrey’s leading women players, helping to bring their achievements to a wider audience.
The project contributed to a lasting tribute to the club’s heritage: a mural celebrating Surrey’s cricketing heroes, now on display at The Oval.
Whether you’re looking to document the history of your women’s team, celebrate influential players or uncover overlooked stories from your club’s past, Raf combines historical research with engaging storytelling to create work that will resonate with players, members and supporters alike.
